Dually the Two Legged Puppy Finds Love in a New Home

We are so happy for beautiful Dually who was recently adopted by Kiana and family! Dually, was brought to the Humane Society of Ventura County when she was just a couple days old with her mother and two siblings. Dually, who is missing her front two legs, was raised at the Shelter and it was clear from a very young age this brave little girl was determined to experience the world just like her siblings.

As you can imagine, many folks were quite smitten with Dually and reached out to us to see how they could help her. Kiana, her mother Melissa, and boyfriend Alexander had seen Dually featured on our social media and just had to meet her. They visited with Dually and her family regularly at the Shelter in the hopes that one day they would bring her home for good. Kiana and her family have extensive experience with special needs dogs and they were confident they could provide her with the very best life.

When Dually finally became available Melissa was here first thing to adopt her and that afternoon surprised Kiana when she got home. According to the family, Dually, now named Margo after Kiana’s grandmother, is doing great and fits right in with the family and their other two Chihuahuas.

Thank you to everyone who helped give this amazing little dog a second chance and we wish the happy family the best of luck!
