Tucker and Tundra are Now Available for Adoption!

Tucker and Tundra are looking for forever homes! Both horses were brought to the HSVC by our Humane Officers as part of an abuse and neglect investigation in late December of 2022. They have come a long way during their time at the shelter, and we are so excited they are finally available for adoption! If you are interested, please call the shelter at 805-646-6505 to speak with our Equine Specialist, Christina.

Tucker (left) is a 19-year-old neutered male Bay Quarterhorse. He has a very sweet personality and no medical issues. Tucker needs some groundwork and would benefit from more training by an experienced owner. He is 14.3 hands tall, walks well on a lead, and transports well in a trailer.

Tundra (right) is a 16-year-old Grey Arabian gelding. He is green broke and has had a saddle on. Tundra needs groundwork and would benefit from more training with an experienced owner. He's equally as sweet as his pal Tucker and also has no medical issues.
