We're less than two weeks away from our 91st birthday bash weekend extravaganza! All are invited to join us on Friday, June 9th, from 6 - 9 pm for BBQ & Brews, a ticketed fundraiser dinner to celebrate HSVC's 91st birthday and benefit animals in need. Festivities will continue on Saturday, June 10th, from 11 am - 2 pm with a FREE community celebration at the shelter. See below for more details about this exciting birthday weekend! Friday, June 9th, BBQ & Brews - Our 91st Birthday Bash Fundraiser Dinner

Evening Agenda:

6:00 to 6:45 pm – Welcome reception: Upon arrival at the shelter, you will be greeted with a signature cocktail courtesy of Ventura Spirits, beer or wine, and charcuterie boards as you mingle with fellow animal lovers. Grab a mystery wine bottle from our wine pull or wait for your chance to bid at the live auction during dinner.

7:00 pm – Dinner: Live music performed by Kelly's Lot, BBQ buffet provided by Q Time BBQ Co. (vegetarian and vegan options available), beer provided by Ojai Valley Brewery

Enjoy beer/wine and a delicious buffet dinner offering a selection of tri-tip, chicken, vegan chili, veggie burgers, grilled vegetables, salad, and garlic bread. And did we mention cake, a celebration is not complete without dessert!

9:00 pm – After party at Ojai Valley Brewery with more live music and brews

Patron Gift Ticket - $75.00 Gift a ticket to a shelter staff member so they can attend the event!

VIP ticket - $150.00 Limited to 24 tickets! This ticket gets you family-style dinner and beverage service and VIP seating with either: HSVC Executive Director, Eric Knight, HSVC Director of Shelter Operations, Karen Terpstra, or HSVC Board President Sheila McCollum.

Table of ten - $750.00 This ticket will get you one table with 10 seats for you and all your animal-loving friends!

Saturday, June 10th - FREE 91st Birthday Community Celebration 

Join us in celebrating the Humane Society of Ventura County's 91st birthday! This fun community event will feature live music, food, cold treats, a kid zone, a kitten kissing booth, birthday cake, and more. Plus a Pooch Parade featuring many of our adoptable furry friends! What a great way to learn more about HSVC and support the animals we serve. Plus, join us for an afterparty with our neighbors down the street at Ojai Valley Brewery!
