The Humane Society of Ventura County would like to extend a big thank you to the students of Ojai Valley School for their generous donation of over $400! The students created and sold pottery during the Ojai Day festival in Libby Park last month, with all proceeds donated to benefit shelter animals in need. Interim Shelter Director Arlene MacSween (pictured, center) was on hand to accept the donation. Thank you to all the students who participated!

As a private nonprofit, the HSVC does not receive any funding from the government or any other national animal welfare organization. Our shelter relies entirely on the generosity of our community to continue offering our vital services to those in need.
