Thank you to Marnie Bond-Harrison, owner of Sailor and Friends Pet Supply for hosting the Humane Society of Ventura County’s Meet and Greet events every month! Once a month, we bring dogs (and occasionally cats!) for the public to meet and fall in love with.

This is such a great experience for the animals as they get a break from the stress of the shelter and they also get to see new things. The public also gets to see these dogs and cats out of the shelter where they can show just how loving and affectionate they are. We have had many happy adoptions as a result of these events and are so grateful to Marnie for her commitment to helping animals in need just at the HSVC, but her support for all the shelters throughout the area!
