A very special thanks to Makena from Oak Grove School for donating blankets, towels, dog and cat food along with items for our Kitten Foster Program.

Makena, along with other students from the Oak Grove elementary, middle and high school student councils, organized a donation drive for the HSVC during the COVID-19 pandemic. Makena stopped by the Shelter to deliver the items and to thank the staff for their continued efforts to care for the animals at the HSVC. As a nonprofit, we rely solely on the generosity of individuals and organizations in our community. With students like Makena and her classmates at Oak Grove School, our community has a very bright future.
