The HSVC would like to extend a big thank you to 5-year-old Ava for donating money to our shelter to help animals in need! With the help of her mom, Ava hosted a lemonade stand in her neighborhood and sold cookies and lemonade. She raised over $60 for the animals at our shelter, way to go Ava!

As a private nonprofit, the HSVC does not receive any outside funding from the government or other national animal welfare organizations. We rely 100% on the generosity of our donors, community partners, and volunteers to continue providing our services to those in need.
