The Humane Society of Ventura County and our Humane Educator, Dawn Reily, would like to give a very special thank you to  Junior Volunteer Amanda Hilf!

Amanda, pictured on the left, assisted at almost every camp this summer. One of her many duties was helping the younger campers with their projects and making sure campers stay safe around the animals that they were working with. Her expertise and love of animals is a huge asset to our camps and our young campers learning experience. 

Amanda has been volunteering at the Humane Society of Ventura County as a Junior Volunteer for many years. Her experience working with the animals and helping out during the camps has built up her confidence. She has a great energy around the kids and animals and she shows an immense sense of responsibility. Thank you Amanda for dedicating your summer to helping out at the shelter!
