ABOUT
Join Us at HSVC's Animal Adventure Summer Camp!
Calling all animal friends! Come join us at the Humane Society of Ventura County shelter where you will learn more about how to care for and be responsible for animals.
In this 4-day program, campers are introduced to information about caring for and being responsible for companion animals and our local wildlife. Every day of camp is filled with arts and crafts, lessons about the proper treatment of animals, and sharing ideas about how to protect animals. Campers will also explore the newly planted pollinator garden and participate in learning how pollinator gardens help wildlife. There will be a mix of indoor and outdoor time. And every week has a special guest appearance (subject to change). At the end of the camp on Friday, there will be a water activity to help campers cool off.
Note: This is a drop-off day camp (10 am-2 pm). Animal interactions are not a guaranteed experience at this summer camp. Every day is different at our shelter, animals come and go, and the animals ready for play change daily.
