Sugar is Still as Sweet as Can Be!
Six months later and pretty girl Sugar is still living the sweet life in her forever home! An adorable Border Collie mix, 1-year-old Sugar was transferred to the HSVC through our rescue partners, Kern County Animal Services. It didn't take long for her to catch the eye of her future parents, Jennie and Jim, and the rest is history!
According to Jennie, it took some time for Sugar to adjust to her new surroundings. However, she has since settled and fits perfectly into Jennie and Jim's daily routines. The sweet pup now spends her days going on beach walks, playing with toys, and visiting the puppy playground to play with other dogs.
"We just love her to bits and she's doing so well. Thank you to the HSVC so much for the work you do. Sugar sends you all a big kiss!" said Jennie. Thank you, Jim and Jennie, for choosing to adopt not shop, and giving Sugar a loving home!
