It looks like Christine & Marty were made for each other! Marty, now Smokey, was rescued in the field by our Humane Officers and bounced back at lightening speed with a little TLC.

Though Smokey had a happy outlook on his rescue, a proper grooming was a must! Amber at Puff N Fluff grooming in Meiners Oaks came to the rescue once again and got him in tip-top shape. When Christine came to visit the shelter she knew that little Smokey was the one for her!

Smokey and Christine were another recipient of Tinker's Treat-a program organized by volunteer John Darling to benefit dogs 5 years and older.
