Small and Mighty, Bean is a Queen!

Sweet and spunky Bean was adopted from the HSVC in February of 2020. According to her new family, the 3-year-old Chihuahua came into their lives the perfect time and has provided nonstop entertainment and cuddles throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bean, formerly Cassy, is a pint-sized pup who loves to explore the world around her. According to her new mom Jocelyn, she is four pounds of kinetic energy who loves to be at the center of all the action at home. “Car ride? She’s in. Watering plants? She’s got her nose in the pot. Neighbors walking by? She’s barking a hello! When she’s not making her rounds, she’s napping in a lap and is an excellent cuddle buddy,” said Jocelyn of the curious dog. She is shown above (left) taking a walk on the beach with Jocelyn’s daughter, Tuesday.

The family is very grateful to have adopted Bean just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. In addition to providing unconditional love and comic relief, Bean has learned how to shake, sit, and play fetch during their time quarantining at home.

Thank you Jocelyn and Tuesday for rescuing this sweet girl and giving her a life of love and happiness!
