Our National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day special has been extended!

Now through Saturday, May 3rd, you can visit the HSVC and bring home a furry family member for just $30! All available adult dogs and cats are eligible! Horses and kittens excluded. 

This day is celebrated yearly to raise awareness for the thousands of pets in shelters patiently waiting to be adopted. Did you know that approximately 6.5 million animals enter animal shelters annually in the United States? That's a lot of furry friends in need of loving homes! You can help us make a difference by bringing home a pet of your own or helping us spread the word about our adoptable animals. Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows),  a rabies vaccine (if age allows), a wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
