Thank you, Channing, for adopting Cheez-It and Arlene!

It's always a good day when not one, but two kittens get to go home to the same family! Word must have gotten around that the Humane Society of Ventura County was full of cats and kittens available for adoption.

But did you know matching animals in their perfect new home is just one of many ways the Shelter works toward improving the bond between humans and animals? This past year we have worked toward advocating for homeless animals by increasing awareness about the benefits of spay and neuter and our low-cost spay and neuter clinic. While kittens like Cheez-it and Arlene may have hit the jackpot, not all animals are so lucky. Special thanks to Channing Tatum who adopted these two cuties from the Shelter last week. We are grateful for the support of all our valued community members who make a difference in the lives of animals in need!
