One year later and senior dog Sassy is thriving in her forever home! Ten-year-old Sassy was surrendered to the HSVC in early February of 2021 after her previous owner could no longer care for her. It didn't take long for the sweet Jack Russell Terrier mix to catch the eye of her new family and she was quickly adopted by Erin, Layla, and Jason. According to Layla, it's been nonstop love ever since!

"We love her more and more every day and we are so thankful to the HSVC! Thanks for saving Sassy so she could bless our family like she has!" said Layla.
