HSVC Exhibits at RescueCon 2024

We had a furrtastic time at RescueCon 2024! From meeting the Kitten Lady to socializing with our supporters, it was an afternoon full of animal fun! We're especially proud of HSVC's Dr. Christina Sisk for sharing her extensive knowledge of veterinary care with attendees as a keynote speaker. Thank you to all who stopped by our booth to meet adoptable animals and learn more about our shelter!

HSVC wants to extend a big shoutout to the three volunteers who assisted with animal handling, sharing information, and more at the event. Ava, John, and Katharine dedicated their afternoon to helping HSVC accomplish its community outreach mission. John also took photos at the event, many of which you see in this post. RescueCon would not have been such a success without these three!

Shelter dogs Odie (far left/right), Everest (center, left), and Candy (center, right) provided joy and plenty of kisses to attendees at RescueCon. Each pup enjoyed a break from shelter life and meeting new friends at the event. All three are still available for adoption! Visit the HSVC in Ojai any time during visiting hours Monday - Saturday between 10 am and 4:30 pm if you are interested in adding one of these cuties to your family.
