Puppy Power! Thank You To All Who Donated!

The HSVC would like to extend a big thank you to all who donated puppy food for our petite furry friends in need! We received over 100 cases of Pedigree Puppy food, that's over 1200 cans total! Our shelter is now stocked for puppy season!

In addition to puppy food, our shelter was also gifted multiple bags of dry cat food, dry dog food, pet toys, and even laundry detergent! The extra food will be used to stock our on-site Pet Food Bank, which provides free pet food to low-income pet owners in need. Extra donations will also be distributed through Pantry 4 Paws, an HSVC program that offers free pet food to feed the dogs of homeless and underserved communities at remote locations across Ventura County.

As a private, nonprofit 501c3 organization, the HSVC receives no government funding or funds from national organizations such as the Humane Society of the United States or ASPCA. We rely entirely on donations from the public and fundraising efforts to continue providing vital services for those in need throughout our community. If you would like to join our efforts, please visit our website to donate and help animals in need. We are also accepting donations through our Amazon Wishlist and Chewy Wishlist. Thank you for your support!
