Pet of the Week - Max
We have so much love for Max, and we think you will too! Handsome boy Max came to the HSVC in mid-November as part of a humane investigation. The 4-year-old Belgian Malinois was very thin when he first arrived. Thanks to the care and dedication of our staff, Max has slowly been getting back to a healthy weight. We're so proud of his progress!
Max is very sweet, but he takes his time warming up to new friends. He would do best with an owner who understands his back story and has knowledge of his breed. We know Max can be the best dog, he just needs someone to take a chance on him! If you think you could be a good match for Max, stop by the shelter to meet him.
The HSVC is open to visit the dogs Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 4:30 pm and we're located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, CA. Please note that all applications for Max will be reviewed and approved by our Humane Officers to ensure he finds his perfect home.
