Pet of the Week - Layla

Layla is absolutely stunning with a personality to match! This gorgeous 2-year-old kitty has been patiently waiting for a forever home since she was brought to the HSVC in mid-April. She came to the shelter with her friends Cedric (adopted) and Saffron (available) as part of a hoarding case with our Humane Officers. Sweet girl Layla was recently diagnosed with Calicivirus, a common upper respiratory virus that often affects cats and kittens in shelters. While not fatal or contagious to humans or other animals, we are recommending she go to a home where she is the only cat in the household. Her adoption fee is only $60! Help us get Layla out of the shelter and into the loving forever home she deserves!

If you are interested in bringing Layla home, stop by the shelter to visit her! We are located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, CA and we are open Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm.

Included with all cat adoptions is the first FVRCP shot in the series, a leukemia test (if age allows), rabies vaccine (if age allows), a medical exam good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, deworming, implanting an identification microchip, registration of microchip, spay or neuter surgery if necessary as well as a safety collar, ID tag, and a cardboard carrier.
