A very special thank you to volunteer photographer Greg A. Cooper who put a wonderful and informative photo class together for staff this week! All day long we are taking photos as animals arrive, are adopted, and everything in between.

Greg Cooper and his wife Cláudia Figueiredo are no strangers to the Humane Society of Ventura County. Greg has been volunteering at the shelter for 25 years and has leant his expertise to documenting many of the activities that go on at the shelter behind the scenes. Cláudia donates her time weekly to take profile photos of the animals, playing a huge part in our growing adoption rates.

We are all so fortunate to have them share their experience as well as professional tips with us. It's important that we get the best shots we can to show our supporters and potential adopters all the wonderful things that happen at the shelter. We look forward to sharing our new skills with all of you!
