Pet of the Week - Sparkle
Sparkle is the talk of the cat room, as she is the first to welcome new guests. Sparkle, a 2 year old spayed domestic shorthair, is very affectionate and will come right up to you to beg for your attention.
Sparkle enjoys getting pet, sitting in your lap, and just being by your side. Sparkle doesn't mind other cats, is litter box trained, and loves to play with toys. She would do well in just about any home who is willing to make her part of the family, (though we don't know how she is with children or dogs). If you would like to meet Sparkle, stop by the Shelter in Ojai and visit our adult cat room where Sparkle will most likely be the first to greet you at the gate!
Cat adoptions will include the first FVRCP shot in the series, a leukemia test (if age allows), rabies vaccine, a medical exam good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, deworming, implanting an identification microchip (registration extra), spay or neuter surgery if necessary as well as a safety collar, ID tag and a cardboard carrier.
