Calling all senior cat lovers! Beautiful Sophia, a 14-year-old, domestic shorthair, was surrendered to the Humane Society of Ventura County this past April when her previous owner could no longer care for her.

We were not able to get much information from her previous owner, but Sophia is a very sweet and gentle cat who will need a calm and loving home that will spoil her. Sophia currently lives in our adult cat room where she enjoys lounging around in our cat trees. If you are interested in meeting Sophia, please stop by the Shelter to spend some time with this lovely cat!

Cat adoptions will include the first FVRCP shot in the series, a leukemia test and rabies vaccine (if age allows), a medical exam good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, deworming, implanting an identification microchip (registration extra), spay or neuter surgery if necessary as well as a safety collar, ID tag, and a cardboard carrier.
