Pet of the Week - Sam
Sweet Sam was rescued by our Humane Officers on March 12th and has been thriving at the shelter ever since. This 2 year old male, Maltese mix, is going to need a loving family with the time and motivation to give young Sam all the training he will require.
Sam has been kid tested and approved! He was a star during our spring break camp and according to the young campers who worked with him, Sam is quite the people person and is a quick learner, eager to please. If you would like more information on this sweet little guy please visit the shelter and ask a staff member to introduce.
Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series, a rabies vaccine, a medical exam good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip (registration extra), spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
For dog adoptions, a yard check will be performed prior to adoption. In addition to adequate fencing and shelter, those wishing to adopt a pet must provide either proof of ownership of the residence or a rental agreement for that address indicating that pets are allowed.
