Pet of the Week - Marguerita
Meet Marguerita! This gorgeous 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair kitty was brought to the shelter for TNR (trap/neuter/release) in early May. After realizing she was more friendly than feral, Marguerita was signed over to the shelter to find a new home. Spunky and playful, Marguerita prefers her "me time" to socializing with other cats. She would make a great companion in a home with no other animals.
The HSVC is now open for staff-guided visits at the shelter to view the animals. If you are interested in adopting sweet Marguerita, stop by the shelter to meet her! We are open Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai.
Included with all adoptions is the first FVRCP shot in the series, a leukemia test (if age allows), rabies vaccine (if age allows), a medical exam good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, deworming, implanting an identification microchip, registration of microchip, spay or neuter surgery if necessary as well as a safety collar, ID tag, and a cardboard carrier.
