Pet of the Week - Kit
Say hello to Kit! This sweet pup is a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix looking for a forever home of her own. She was surrendered to the shelter with her friend, May, in early June after her owner could no longer care for her. Kit is a little shy at first, but with time she becomes a very affectionate and friendly girl. Help us find her the home she deserves!
The HSVC is now open for staff-guided viewings of the animals and no longer accepting online applications at this time. If you are interested in adopting Kit, stop by the shelter and sign up for a staff-guided viewing to meet her! Adoption applications must be filled out in-person at the shelter and only after completing a guided viewing. We are located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai. Please visit our website to view all the new guidelines and protocols regarding visitation and adoption.
Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
