Pet of the Week - Cookie
Cookie is as sweet as her name implies! This 4-year-old black and white spayed female came to the shelter through no fault of her own and has settled into the cat room with ease.
Cookie enjoys spending her days curled up on the various pillows and cat trees we have around the cat room and doesn't mind any of the other cats. Cookie is very affectionate and enjoys getting pet and scratched under her chin. Cookie would be a great cat for first-time cat owners as she is litter-box trained, loves people, and enjoys playing with toys.
Cat adoptions will include the first FVRCP shot in the series, a leukemia test (if age allows), rabies vaccine (if age allows), a medical exam good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, deworming, implanting an identification microchip (registration extra), spay or neuter surgery if necessary as well as a safety collar, ID tag, and a cardboard carrier.
