Pet of the Week - Chase
While we are not currently performing adoptions due to COVID-19, Chase will be available for a forever home when the shelter reopens to the public. Chase is a very sweet 5-year-old Border Collie mix who loves going for walks and being outdoors. He was transferred to the HSVC through our rescue partners in mid-January.
A gentle giant, Chase is very people oriented. He walks well on a leash and just wants to be by your side. Chase would be a great companion dog for anyone that is active and like to go on adventures. He would do best in a home with a large, fenced in yard with lots of room to run.
At 5-years-old, Chases qualifies as a "senior" dog, meaning his adoption fee is only $75. Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), a wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip (registration extra), spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
Note that we are currently not open to the public and are not performing adoptions due to circumstances related to COVID-19. For updated information on our services, please see our website homepage or contact the shelter at 805-646-6505 or [email protected]. We appreciate your understanding and support during this time.
