Pet of the Week - Bertha

We know you can't resist this cutie! Four-year-old Bertha came to the HSVC in mid-July with her friends as part of an abuse and neglect case. Despite the situation she came from, the spunky Bulldog mix is sweet and so friendly! She loves attention and will do just about anything for a good head scratch. Like many Bulldogs, Bertha breathes and grunts loudly when she gets excited. It's part of her charm!

Help us find Bertha her forever home! Those interested in adopting sweet girl Bertha can stop by the shelter to meet her any time during business hours. We are open Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm and we are located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, CA. Please note that if you are bringing your own dog for a meet and greet it must be fully vaccinated. Thank you!

Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), a wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
