This fun little guy is a perfect friend for all! Bear is one unique dog with a glowing personality. Bear is a 5 year old possible Cairn Terrier mix who loves people and loves to play.

While we have no background on Bear, we have learned a lot during his stay with us. Bear is a fun loving dog who enjoys chasing and fetching tennis balls, lounging in the kiddie pools in our play yards, and going to the beach on Sundays with our volunteers. Bear walks great on a leash and enjoys riding in cars. He is a very well mannered little dog, and could do well with another dog if it is a good fit. We encourage anyone interested in meeting Bear to stop by the shelter and have a staff member introduce you!

Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), a wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip (registration extra), spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.

For dog adoptions, a yard check will be performed prior to adoption. In addition to adequate fencing and shelter, those wishing to adopt a pet must provide either proof of ownership of the residence or a rental agreement for that address indicating that pets are allowed.
