Pet Food Bank Available At Two Locations
Justin Homze co-founder of the Upper Ojai Thomas Fire Relief Station, helped Director of Community Outreach Greg Cooper unload 1,500 pounds of chicken and pig feed to the Upper Ojai Thomas Fire Relief Station where it will be redistributed to those in need.
In an effort to best serve those directly impacted by the Thomas Fire, the Humane Society of Ventura County has been distributing donated pet food by partnering with other local nonprofits throughout the community. Besides chicken and pig feed, the Upper Ojai Thomas Fire Relief Station also has dog and cat food (both dry and wet) available to those families in need. For those closer to the Shelter in Ojai, stop by for dog, cat, and rabbit food, timothy hay, and cat litter during our regular business hours Monday-Saturday 10-5.
