Special thanks to Patagonia Kid’s Club program for their donation of supplies to the Humane Society of Ventura County. The after-school care program’s children, ages 5-8, utilized recycled gardening pots, ceramic mugs and other containers to pot succulents to sell at Patagonia’s Ventura Campus recently.

The nearly $400 that was raised was taken to BigLots to purchase items in need at the Shelter including dog and cat food, dog and cat toys and plush beds. This is the second time in as many years this group has supported the HSVC with in-kind donations. “Thank you Patagonia’s Kids Club for your continued support, your donations will go a long way in helping the animals here at the Shelter,” said Greg Cooper, Director of Community Outreach for the HSVC.
