Pantry 4 Paws, a countywide program from the Humane Society of Ventura County offers pet food banks in remote locations. With distribution facilities across Ventura County, the program aims to feed the dogs of people without homes and under-served communities across the county.
Those who’d like to support the HSVC’s Pantry 4 Paws program can drop off unopened bags of dry dog or cat food at the Ojai shelter, at 402 Bryant St. Also, the HSVC Amazon Wish List and Chewy.com Wish List have been updated to include examples of requested food.
Any welfare agencies, nonprofits or businesses that offer assistance to people without homes in Ventura County and are interested in hosting a Pantry 4 Paws dispenser at no cost should contact Steve McCurry, Community Outreach Coordinator at the HSVC: [email protected] or 805-646-6505.
As a private nonprofit, we do not receive any government funding and we are not affiliated with any national animal welfare organizations. Please help us keep pets in their homes and out of the shelter by donating to our Pet Pantry programs today! Click the button below to donate.
