Happy Gotcha Day, Pantera!

It's one-year-old Pantera's, formerly known as Jicama, first gotcha day! Congratulations on finding your forever home with your pawrents, Jodi, Josh, and your fur sibling, Trooper! At five months old, the beautiful Belgian Malinois was surrendered in the field to our Humane Officers in early January 2023 with her five siblings. After being in the shelter for five months, she found her forever family. According to her new pawrents, Pantera was a little nervous when she first came home, but the sweet pup slowly learned how to trust people and became the perfect family pet.

Pantera's new mom, Jodi, said, "I want to pass on our sincere thanks for everything you did to help us bring Pantera into our lives. She has been such a joy over the last year and for many more years to come. She has blossomed into an amazing dog and is still working on overcoming some fears of this big new world she gets to live in. She has found a great friend and doggie companion in our other dog, Trooper, who has been teaching her the right way to be a dog. She LOVES camping and being outdoors with us."

Thank you to Jodi and Josh for giving our extraordinary girl the forever home she deserves. Happy Gotcha Day, Pantera!
