Pet of the Week - Otis
Meet Otis, a fluffy lovebug with a heart of gold. This gentle, handsome, 1.5-year-old soul is the easiest cat in the world to love. He's incredibly patient, endlessly talkative, and always up for a cuddle (or 10). Otis is the definition of a social butterfly: he gets along with other cats as long as they’re on his wavelength, respecting their boundaries and never resorting to hissing. In fact, Otis would rather share love than space, always choosing pets over food, toys, or even naps. He’s the chillest cat when it comes to grooming—brushes? Yes, please! Trimming his claws? A breeze. Even baths don’t phase him. When it comes to comfort, Otis is a pro at finding the perfect spot to nap, claiming any cozy corner as his own personal haven.
While Otis is the embodiment of sweetness, he’s also a big softie when it comes to affection. If he’s left alone too long, you’ll hear his little meows to let you know it’s snuggle time. His favorite toy is a wooden catnip ball that he can bat around with pure joy. Kind, silly, and a bit of a lap magnet, Otis is the kind of cat who will steal your heart without even trying. The world’s most loving companion, he’s proof that there’s no such thing as too much affection.
Interested in adding Otis to your family? This sweet boy will quickly make himself at home with his gentle nature and undeniable charm. Whether you’re looking for a lap cat, a cuddle buddy, or just a friend to talk to, Otis is your guy. He’ll shower you with affection, and in return, all he asks for is your companionship. If you're ready for endless snuggles, gentle purrs, and a cat who thrives on love, Otis is the one for you! You can visit this sweetheart at the shelter located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai anytime Monday - Saturday between 10 am and 4:30 pm.
Included with all cat adoptions is the first FVRCP shot in the series, a leukemia test (if age allows), rabies vaccine (if age allows), a medical exam good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, deworming, implanting an identification microchip, registration of microchip, spay or neuter surgery if necessary as well as a safety collar, ID tag, and a cardboard carrier.
