We are pleased to announce this fall’s Open Board Meeting will be held at the Shelter on Wednesday, October 17th at 6pm. The meeting will take place at the Humane Society of Ventura County in front of the Harry Valentine Visitor Center.

Each year, the Board of Directors conducts two open board meetings to provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Shelter, ask questions, and find out how to get involved with the nonprofits animal rescue efforts. These meetings are  the perfect opportunity for our community to learn more about the different services the Shelter has to offer and how you can help.
