Thank You Ojai Valley School Volunteers!

This past Friday the Humane Society of Ventura County was lucky to have 12 Ojai Valley School students stop by to help clean up the dog yards. This wonderful group spent the morning raking, cleaning out dog pools and water bowls, and even did a bit of tree trimming. The yards look fantastic and the dogs are already having fun splashing around in their squeaky clean pools!

We feel very fortunate to have such a great community of students willing to help out with the animals. This group of students are counselors in training and they certainly used their new leadership skills to knock out the tasks put before them. Thank you Ojai Valley School CIT’s!

If you have a group who may be interested in donating some time to help, please contact out Volunteer Coordinator Amanda Volden for more information on volunteer opportunities. She can be reached by email at [email protected] or by phone at (805) 646-6505x110.
