The Rotary Club of Ojai recently invited HSVC to give a presentation at one of their chapter meetings. The gathering was full of energy and insightful discussion, with a special focus on the impact of pet therapy. HSVC's Programs Director Arlene MacSween and Administrative Assistant Judy Robertson (pictured left) spoke to the group about the benefits of pet therapy and answered questions about HSVC's own Pet Therapy Program.

We are fortunate to have Judy and Arlene, two passionate advocates for the program, available to share their knowledge and experiences in this meaningful field. Their presentation shed light on the incredible benefits of pet therapy, from improving emotional well-being to providing comfort for those in hospitals and nursing homes. It's inspiring to learn how these furry companions make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
