Pet of the Week - Nova

We can't believe this gorgeous girl is still here! Seven-year-old Nova was first brought to the HSVC in mid-September after she was signed over to our Humane Officers as part of an abuse and neglect case. She was extremely underweight when she first arrived, but we are happy to report that Nova has gained over 20 pounds and is now ready for a home of her own!

Nova may be an older gal, but you’d never know! This stunning white Siberian Husky has lots of playful energy and would do anything for a belly rub. A lover of fetch, walks, and toys, Nova is a very affectionate girl who just wants your love and attention. She would be an ideal companion for an outdoor adventurer who loves to explore.

Help us find sweet Nova the home she deserves! If you are interested in adopting Nova, please visit our website and click the orange “Let’s Get Started button to fill out an adoption appointment request and meet her.

Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
