Welcome Non-Congregate Shelter to the Pantry 4 Paws Family!

The Humane Society of Ventura County is excited to partner with Non-Congregate Shelter in Oxnard as a new Pantry 4 Paws pet food pantry host. Ashley from the Shelter and HSVC Volunteer Coordinator Audra were on hand for the installation (pictured).

HSVC's Pantry 4 Paws program aims to serve the pets of people in under-served communities throughout greater Ventura County. Operated by Mercy House Living Centers, many residents at Non-Congregate Shelter have companion pets in need of food. Pantry 4 Paws will provide free and easily accessible dog and cat food to those in need.

Those interested in hosting a Pantry 4 Paws installation at no cost can contact Audra Lucas at [email protected] or 805-646-6505 for more information. The HSVC's onsite Pet Food Bank. located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, is always accepting donations of unopened bags of dry dog or cat food. Donors can visit our Amazon or Chewy.com Wishlists for examples of requested food. Thank you for your support!
