THANK YOU TO JACOB FAJARDO AND BOY SCOUT TROOP 504
For the past year Jacob Fajardo from Boy Scout Troop 504 has been working on a project for the Humane Society of Ventura County in order to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. Jacob started as a Wolf in Scouts nearly ten years ago. Last year Jacob approached the shelter with a project to benefit the animals of the Humane Society, a place where his own family dog had come from years ago.
Last Friday Jacob and crew started construction on not just one, but TWO new dog yards for the HSVC as well as the installation of two new tunnels in the agility yard for the dogs to enjoy. Jacob came up with this project and has done all of his own planning, fundraising, and coordinating to make this happen!
We here at the HSVC are beyond impressed with our new yards and tunnels! Thank you to all of you who have supported Jacob in this endeavor and of course to Jacob and the Scouts for making this happen! We love it and most importantly the dogs will too! THANK YOU!
