Make a Difference this World Spay Day!

By Amy King

February 23rd, 2021 is World Spay Day! Sadly, millions of adoptable shelter cats and dogs are euthanized in the U.S. each year simply because there are not enough homes for them. This number is largely due to pet overpopulation caused by unplanned litters of puppies and kittens. Spaying and neutering can prevent these unnecessary litters and, as a result, offer more homes to animals already in shelters.
