Thank You Asher!

Last week young Asher stopped by the Humane society of Ventura County to drop off a very generous donation. For his 5th birthday, Asher decided that he wanted to raise money for animals in need. Asher was able to raise $63.37 for the shelter and we are very grateful for his support!

Fundraising Piggy Banks Now Available!

Some of our biggest supporters are also our youngest! Every month children of all ages donate their allowances and dedicate their birthday’s to helping animals in need. Getting children involved in their local shelter is a great way to instill compassion and a sense of civic duty and community responsibility into even our youngest supporters.

Cats & Kittens Need Your Help!

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Cats and kittens throughout the county rely on the generosity of our community to get a second chance when times are tough. Many of the animals at the shelter require a special diet, as is the case with the numerous kittens in our care. We are currently reaching out to our supporters to make donations of Purina One kitten food for the shelter and ALL types of cat and kitten food for our community Pet Food Bank.
