Rescue Horse is Doing Well!

In just two months, ten-year-old Archer has come a long way. After being rescued in the field by our Humane Officers on October 17th, Archer had a long road to recovery, and as of today has regained approximately 200 pounds. Not only has his health greatly improved but so have his spirits and Archer enjoys attention from staff and volunteers.

The calendar is a culmination of images made by HSVC volunteers and staff over the past 12 months. The animals featured in the 13-month calendar were either adopted through the HSVC or were under our care at one time.
