It's that time of the year! As of Monday, March 13th, the Humane Society of Ventura County will be open Monday-Saturday, from 10am until 6pm.
We are proud to announce that The Humane Society of Ventura County was awarded the Spirit of Ojai Valley Award! The Ojai Valley Chamber of Commerce announced the winner last night at their Celebrating Businesses in the Ojai Valley Awards Dinner. Margery Spielman and Barbara Connelly were there to accept the award.
We had an exciting afternoon at the shelter last Friday! Humane Officers Vail and Winwood responded to a call where a small menagerie of animals needed help.
Five year old Kobi is ready for his forever home! This distinguished Rhodesian Ridgeback mix is quite the sight to be seen. Kobi is very outgoing and loves a good game of catch.
