Looks like someone is enjoying getting the royal treatment! Mona, an 8-month-old Belgian Malinois, was recently surrendered to the HSVC after her previous owner could no longer care for her. Given her young age, breed, and smart personality, our staff quickly realized she had the potential to be a part of a rescue organization rather than a home.

Our friends at National Disaster Search Dog Foundation visited the HSVC to evaluate Mona. They discovered that while Mona was sweet and very smart, she was not toy-driven. It was then decided that she would be transferred to our friends at Malinois & Dutch Shepherd Rescue, Inc. to find the perfect home for the high-energy pup. Judging by these photos, we think Mona is pretty happy in her new environment! Congratulations and happy tails Mona!
