He can sit. He can stay. He is even learning the army crawl! Astro is a energetic Labrador/Rottweiler mix who loves to meet new people and enjoy a game of fetch!

Astro is a handsome Labrador Retriever and Rottweiler Mix! He came in as a stray on Nov 28, 2014, and we are guessing he is 3 years old. Astro is potty trained, and we have observed that he will not do his "business" in his kennel! He will bark to go out when he can't hold it anymore!! Astro has had some training. He knows some basics: Sit, down, stay, come, and shake/high five! (The pictures below are of him staying and sitting after coming, and all while wearing a Winnie the Pooh costume!) He is good for handling and even let one of our volunteers dress him up! Astro is a sweetie but he needs a strong leader. He needs to learn leash manners, and not to jump up. He will be a fun project for someone! He will repay you with many many many kisses! Astro is good with adults, but we have not observed him around children, other dogs, or cats.
