Celebrating 32 Years of Service - Thank You Liz Cameron!

The HSVC would like to congratulate Liz Cameron of Ventura County Code Enforcement on her retirement! For the past 32 years, Liz has worked alongside our Humane Officers during investigations of animal abuse and neglect. She is hardworking, dedicated, and we will miss her! As a token of our appreciation, the HSVC will be adding a paver stone to our onsite memory garden in honor of Liz's years of service.

Many of our staff have worked with Liz throughout her career. "Liz has been instrumental in assisting our Officers on many difficult cases. We will miss her quick wit and sense of humor. Congratulations Liz on your retirement," said Director of Investigations, Jeff Hoffman.

Senior Officer King first met Liz during a multi-agency investigation of a hoarded property back in 2017. "Liz was not afraid to roll up her sleeves and march into the messes. She wasn’t afraid to get dirty! I can see their passion for helping in the way she speaks to people. Her dedication to her job is inspiring. She’s an animal lover just like us!" said King.

Thank you, Liz, for your dedication to helping so many people and animals in need!
