Pet of the Week - Letty

Five-year-old Letty is looking for her happily ever after! The pretty Labrador/Pit Bull mix was transferred to HSVC in early March 2024 from one of our partner rescues. A mama in her past life, Letty's puppies have already found their forever homes, and now it's Letty's turn! Our girl may be a little guarded at first, but the second she gets to know you, it's game over; you're her best friend. Letty is sweet, smart, eager to please, and likes to be the center of attention. Athletic and toy-driven, playful Letty enjoys running around HSVC's agility yard, jumping in the doggie pools, and loves to carry around her jolly ball. We think she would make an excellent adventure buddy for an active owner, as her battery is always full.

Stop by the shelter at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, CA, to meet Letty! She is available to meet new friends any time Monday - Saturday between 10 am - 4:30 pm. Remember, please don't judge a shelter animal by their behavior in their kennel! Letty often experiences barrier stress when in her kennel. However, take her out to a play yard or give her a treat, and she'll be a completely different dog!

Every dog adoption includes the first DHPP shot of the series (if the dog's age allows), a rabies vaccine (if the dog's age allows), a wellness check from participating veterinarians good for up to three days, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, and a collar, ID tag, and leash.
