In preparation for kitten season, HSVC is hosting a kitten shower to spread love to our future feline friends. Join us on Saturday, March 18th, from 12 - 2 pm at the shelter for an in-person kitten shower extravaganza! 

Kitten season refers to the time of year when shelters typically get flooded with litters of kittens in need of care and homes. It can start as early as April and can last through late Summer/early Autumn. These tiny fur babies will need lots of kitten care supplies to ensure they grow up big and strong! Join us at this year's kitten shower to donate items, play games, tour the shelter, learn how to care for young kittens, and meet our new Foster Coordinator, Cheney!

What's a kitten shower without cake, right? The HSVC is partnering with Nothing Bundt Cakes to offer Bundtlets for purchase at the event. Visitors can purchase four different flavors of Bundtlets (Red Velvet, Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Lemon, or Oreo Cookie) at the event while supplies last. Bundtlets are $6 each with a portion of proceeds going to help animals in need at the shelter. 

Bundtlet pick-up will be on Saturday, March 18th between 12 - 2 pm during the Kitten Shower at the shelter. Please call the office at (805)646-6505 if you need to pick it up at a different time.  ALL cakes must be picked up by 5 PM on 3/18.  Payment for the cake will be required at the time of pick up. CASH payments preferred. Thank you!
