Truffles, now Kit Kat, just celebrated her one-year adoption anniversary with her forever family! Congratulations Kit Kat! The gorgeous tortie was adopted by Kelli in late July of last year and she has been living the good life ever since. 

Now over a year old, sweet girl Kit Kat was brought to the HSVC with her sister, Cruella, after being born to a feral mom. The pair was placed in foster care until they were old enough to be adopted out.

Kelli and her family came to the shelter in hopes of finding a friend for their beloved tortie, Reese. They instantly fell in love with Kit Kat and took her home soon after!

"She’s been an absolute joy and we love her to pieces. She’s a big girl now weighing in at 10 lbs, but still can race from cat tree to cat tree (we have 3 spread throughout the house) like a little lightning bolt. She loves her big sister Reese more than anything. She also just got a new sister puppy a couple of months ago which she’s not super thrilled about but I’m sure they’ll work it out! Thank you again so much for all you do for these babies. I’m so glad we came to you that day because I cannot imagine any other more perfect kitty than the one we wound up with!" said Kelli.
